He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Pierson and Flora Pierson; his wife Carolyn Sue Nichols; his son-in-law Jeffrey Holbrook; his siblings, Warren, Virgil, Russell (Holly), Jesse Pierson, Mary Reynolds, Juanita Berry, Hilda Dulin, Ora Yonley and Iwana Ruth Priselac; his niece Lola Longobardi; his brother Rodger; and his sister-in-law Shirley Jonas.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Holbrook, Carl Pierson, Sheri Pierson-Boehm (Bruce), Dianna Pierson and Michelle Aldridge (Calvin); his grandchildren, Jessica Holbrook (David Schuler), Emily Holbrook, Alissa Soliday (Chris), Johnathan Aldridge, Benjamin Holbrook (Hannah) and Brandon Aldridge (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Lydia Schuler, Parker Aldridge, Addison Orth, CJ and Braxton Soliday; his siblings, Larry Pierson of Harrisville, WV and Carolyn Shafer of Waverly, WV; and his pet Suzi.
