He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Mathews and Patricia Mathews (Green); and his close friend Patricia Cleburn. He is survived by: his son Nicholas Mathews; his brother Jim Mathews; his sister-in-law Heather (Mathews); and his sibling's children, Spencer, Tanner and Piper.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Alliance Elks Lodge (606 Glamorgan St, Alliance, OH 44601).
