He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Peate and Ellen Peate (Oyster); his wife LaVonda Peate (Wolfe); and his siblings, Sandy, Velma and Ronald.
He is survived by: his children, Shelley Speakman of Grove City, Dennis Peate of Sebring, Roger M. Peate (Gina) of Alliance and Christopher J. Peate (Sandy) of Canton; his grandchildren, Raquel Speakman, Tiffany Peate, Jessica Peate, Shawn Fitzelle and Kaleb Peate; and his sister Jerri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
