He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. James W. Emery and Mary Louise Emery (Lohr). He is survived by : his wife Kathleen A. Emery (Miller); his children, Deborah A. Foltz (James) of Jamestown, PA, Diana M. Smith (Jeffrey) of Canton, James L. Emery, Jr. (Kathy) of Wilmington, NC and Jeffrey C. Emery (Becky) of Grass Valley, CA; and his sister Joan Ringer (Richard) of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
