Jane Laps McCarty Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jane Laps McCarty of Alliance, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank and Hazel Laps, Jr. (Snyder); her husband Edward W. McCarty; and her brother Timothy E. Laps. She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Basso (Matthew) of Louisville; her siblings, Jill Oakes of Alliance and Mitchell Laps (Brenda) of Concord, SC; her sister-in-law Cynthia Laps of North Canton; her grandchildren, Logan Basso (Corie) of Louisville, Emilyanne Basso of Chicago, IL, Brooke Kling (Joshua) of Louisville, Olivia Samplawski (Pawel) of Medina, London Basso of North Canton and Ashley Fleming (AJ); and her great grandchildren, Amelia Jane, Delaney Kling, Sofia Basso, Penelope and Graham Fleming. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
