She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wood and Susan Wood (Worley); her husband Robert J. Burton; and her sisters, Thelma Reed, Barbara Kommel and JoAnn Qualk.

She is survived by: her children, Kim Yauman (Roger), Jim Mackintosh (Julie), Jodi Varner (Harry) and David Mackintosh; and her sister Celia Knight (Ron). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
