He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Welch and Lucille Welch (Hart); his former wife Virginia Mae Welch; his siblings, Herbert, George Welch and Barbara Hartzell; and his stepchildren, Manfred Kisik, Kurt Kisik and Anna Wilbur.
He is survived by: his wife Lydia Kisik-Welch; his children, Rhonda Welch of Alliance, Jeffrey Welch of Canton, Timothy Welch of Lebanon, OH and Scott Welch of Jacksonville, FL; and his stepchildren, Joseph Kisik of Alliance, Andrew Kisik, Jr. of Homeworth, Robert Kisik of Alliance, Lori Chulik of Alliance, Mary Morgan of Aiken, SC, Kathrine Prime of Derby, England and Linda Stanga of Avon. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
