He was predeceased by: his father Robert Rainier. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Rainier (Guy); his children, John Rainier Jr. (Melanie) and Michelle Sustersic (Paul); his grandchildren, Alex Rainier, Damir Hawkins, Da'Von Lewis, Alec Sustersic, Aidan Sustersic, Isabelle Rainier and Maddie Sustersic; his stepsons, Mark Pederzolli and Daniel Pederzolli; his siblings, Thomas Rainier, Steve Rainier (Vicki), Ann Hillman, Mary Willis (Phillip) and Julie Sherrick (Ray); and his pet Frisbee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
