He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Coy and Minnie Bell Coy (Munsell); his wife Ruth Evelyn Coy (Peterson); his son Todd Peterson Coy; and his brother Frank G. Coy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joni Strank (Mark) of Lisbon and Betsy Coy of Alliance; his granddaughters, Alia West (Mark) of Guilford Lake and Kyrstan Rose of Colorado Springs, CO; and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Remi and Lexi West.
