She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Gibbs and Mamie Gibbs (Haidet); and her husband Walter J. Shaffer. She is survived by: her children, Mark Alan Monea and Kathleen Marie Jones (Monea); her stepson Eric D. Shaffer; her grandchildren, Charles Melaney, Jason Monea, Sean Jones, Cody Jones and Alyssa Monea; her great grandchild Austin Melaney; her stepgrandchildren, Steven, Garvin and Devyn Jones; and her sisters, Jean Eberling and Judy Ritchie (Bill).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Calendar Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home (75 S Union Ave, Alliance, OH 44601). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
