She is survived by: her significant other Eldridge Poindexter Sr.; her children, Eldridge Poindexter Jr. (Debra), Todd Mattox Sr. (Mary), Byron Nikki, Debra Poindexter, Tonya Gunn (Earnest) and Tara Shaw (Jermaine); her daughter-in-law Ame Poindexter; and her grandchildren, Tim Crockett, Starre Cox (Dashaun), Dearian Davenport, Shyreeta Hammond, Shatia Stubblefield, Marlon Gunn, Ivan Gunn, Milan Brown, Markeya McCary, Bhrandon Poindexter, Markey McCary, Rachel Mattox, Gloria Mattox, Byron Poindexter, Tiara Poindexter, Andrew Poindexter, Tyshaun Brown, Tyvaughn Brown and Da'Juan Brown. She is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
