She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ford and Ethel Lee Ford; her husband Edward M. Dixon; her daughter Peggy; her grandchildren, Shane and Malikah; and her brother Willie.
She is survived by: her children, Anita Taylor of Flint, MI, Annese Dixon of Alliance, Zurka Dixon of Canton and Stephen Dixon of Alliance; and her sisters, Robbie Young of Alliance, Betty Matthews of Georgia and Joyce McCary of Alabama. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.
