He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Whitaker and Maxine Reynolds Whitaker; his sisters-in-law, Connie Titak (Jim) and Rose Titak (John); and his aunt Karen Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Titak Whitaker; his children, John Whitaker (Alexis Giua) and Luca Whitaker; his grandparents, Luca Whitaker and John Whitaker (Alexis Giua); his brothers, Jack Whitaker (Charlene) of Spanaway and Robert Whitaker (Nancy) of Wintersville, NC; and his uncle Harold. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
