She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas J. Richards and Catharine Richards (Brown); her husband Norman Johanson; and her brother Jack Richards. She is survived by: her sons, Carl and David Johanson; her grandchildren, Rocco and Kylie; and her sisters, Gail Kelly (Paul) and Kay Lair (Dean). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
