She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hahn and Lela Hahn; her husband J. Nelson Peterson; her daughter-in-law Kay Peterson; and her siblings, Frank Hahn and Mildred Essick.
She is survived by: her sons, Edward Peterson of Hudson and Jerry Peterson (Marjorie) of Alliance; her grandchildren, Gregory Peterson (Danielle) of Cincinnati, Susan Kowalske (Ryan) of Hudson and Douglas Peterson (Brittany) of New York City; and her sister Bonnie Vincent. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
