He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony and Margaret; and his sister Tonya Cox. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" Waitley (Thrash); his children, Lissa Waitley of Brecksville and Andy Waitley of Alliance; his brother-in-law Tom Thrash; and his cousin Tom St. George.
