He was predeceased by: his parents, Valas Winters and Marvilla Winters (Morton); his siblings, June Lacher, Jane Miller, Virginia Gaines and Gail Winters; and his aunt Arrnette Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Emily Winters (Perdue); his daughters, Bonnie Benedict (Barry), Debbie Shields (Doug), Marvilla Miller (Ted) and Marian Gainor (Todd); his grandchildren, Alisha Meyer (Eric), Barri Jo Vavrock (Craig), Dana Burton (Justin), Brittany Owens (Aaron), Chad Shields (Constance), Ben Miller (Stacy), Cael Benedict (Chelsy), Cara Gainor (Talen Smith), Wesley Miller and Nicholas Gainor; his brother Eugene Winters (Joyce); his close friends, Bill and Judy Clair; and his friend Lee VanCamp. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
