He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Vickers and Pearl Vickers (Mattern); his uncle Dwight Mattern; his aunt Norma Burton; his brother Dick (Cindi); and his siblings-in-law, Jack and Joyce.

He is survived by: his siblings, Terry (late Joyce), Darlene (late Jack Gobley), Sherry (Ernie McCracken), Sandy (Russ Bean) and Russell (Lisa); his children, Vic II (Tracy), Richard, Tammy (Jason Sivy) and Jeanne; and his girlfriend Patti Hammonds.
