We announce the death of Delbert E. Marshall of Alvada, Ohio, who passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 91. Delbert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Marshall and Virgie Marshall (Patrick); his wife Rosemary Kay McCarley; and his siblings, Madge, Brady, Pauline, Jolene and Marilyn.
He is survived by: his children, Sheryl Baptiste (Brian) and Tony Marshall (Jeanette); his grandchildren, Christopher Baptiste (Victoria), Michelle Heidepriem (Brandon), Rachel Marshall (Rodney), Jonathan Baptiste (Stephanie), Alyssa Rhiel (James) and Josh Marshall; his great grandchildren, Jasmine, Lilyrose, Jaden, Drake (Jillian), Ethan, Brandon (Gracie), Ava, Candice, Mason, Levi, Wesley, Dante, Oscar, Lena, Alek, Lyza and Ollie; and his great great grandchild Caia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stombaugh-Batton & Snyder Funeral Home (225 W Findlay St, Carey, OH 43316). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Delbert's honor to the charity of the donor's choice.
