She was predeceased by: her parents, Merritt B. Metzger and Lola A. Metzger (Thomas); her husband C. Richard "Dick" Hoy; her daughter Teresa Smiley; and her brother John Metzger.
She is survived by: her sons, Eldon Hoy (Judy) of Alvada, Alan R. Hoy (Lorena) of Findlay and Harlan Hoy (Lisa) of Alvada; and her brother Mark Metzger (Drena) of Alvada. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
