He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Jacob and Germaine Rosetta Nye (Gosche); and his siblings, Cyril M. Nye, Berneida Lichtle, Donald Nye, Delbert Nye, Carl Nye, Mary Lou Weinandy and Shirley Daniel.
He is survived by: his sons, Lewis Nye (Sharon), Randy Nye (Theresa), Matthew Nye (Vicky), Samuel Nye and Raymond Nye; his grandchildren, Adam, Shannon, Levi, Latasha, Devin, Ross, Kyle, Tyler, Justin, Hayden and Trever; his great grandchildren, Claire, Natalie, Nora, Kylie, Abigail, Waylon and William; his sisters, Idella Reinhart, Eloise Reinhart, Teresa Szablewski, Donna Wagner (Gene) and Sharon Hohman (Marvin); and his sister-in-law Pearl Nye.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Bridge Hospice Care Center, Finday, F.A.C.T., or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
