The memory of Carolyn Solt (Amanda, Ohio), who passed away on November 4, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Martin and Edith Martin (Kay); her in-laws, Frederick and Mildred Solt; her brother-in-law Harold Solt; and her stepmother Stella Martin.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Solt; her daughters, Beth Cottrell (Jim), Barbara Andermatt (John) and Laura Steele (David); her grandchildren, Dale Cottrell (Gwen MacDonald), Tyson Cottrell (Abby) of David, Sue Anne "Sam" Steele (Shannon), Alyssa Steele and Eugene "Andy" Andermatt; and her great grandchildren, Emmett and Dawson Steele.
In lieu of flowers, Carolyn's wish was that her friends and family buy themselves or a loved one a flower in her remembrance. The family would also like to extend Carolyn's passion for teaching reading to young kids by collecting donations to purchase books in her honor for students at the Amanda Primary school.
