It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Wharton of Amanda, Ohio, born in Fairfield, Ohio, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Buyrl Wharton and Anna Wharton (Moyer); his brothers, Donald and George Wharton; and his nephews, Stuart and Terrance Wharton.
He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Wharton (Ream); his son Franklin Wharton of Amanda; his granddaughter Molly Kay Wharton (Seth) of Columbus; and his close friend James Mowery of McArthur. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may make memorial contributions to the Laurelville Church of God or any organization that supports animal welfare.
