The memory of Elaine Edgington of Amanda, Ohio, who passed away on September 19, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Smart and Leah Smart (Wiseman); her husband Garold "Doc" Edgington; and her siblings, Shirley Wilson, Paul, David Powers and Dale Smart.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Bigham (Willie) of Amanda, Polly Edgington of Amanda and Bill "Edge" Edgington (Jessica) of Thornville; her brother Roy W. Smart (Sharon) of Zanesville; her close friend Joyce Silcott of Lancaster; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Spires, Marilyn Freese and Ferlinda Powers. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Taylor-Theller Funeral Home (111 W Main St, Amanda, OH 43102). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
