He is survived by: his wife Joan Stone (Kern) of Piqua; his daughter Shelley Stone Duncan of Chillicothe; his stepdaughter Tiffany Pontius of Piqua; his siblings, David Stone (Jean Ann) of Queensbury, NY, Kevin Stone of Groveport and Blanche Yates of Columbus; his stepson Corey Chapman (Ashley) of Piqua; his grandchildren, Jason Duncan of West Virginia, John Duncan (Kara) of Cincinnati, Nicole Marroni and Alexander Marroni (Jetti) of Columbus; his great grandchildren, Aaliyah Duncan, Jaylen Duncan, Isaac Taylor, Juliette Taylor and Lucio Marroni; his nieces, Debby Hammond (Steve) and Dottie Hitchens; and his nephew Carl Hitchens.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Amanda Township Cemetery.
