He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rhymer and Janetta "Mae" Rhymer (Conrad); his wife Clara (King); his daughter Judy Guisinger; his siblings, J. D., Charles, Richard Rhymer, Viola Hartranft, Pauline Pearce, Marcella Arledge, Catherine Hartley, Cleo Good and Evelyn Rhymer; and his great grandchild Adam Roush.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Simpson (Don) of Amanda and Rod Rhymer (Susan) of Amanda; his son-in-law Roger Guisinger of Bremen; and his grandchildren, Michelle, Becky, Bridget, Chad, Angie, Craig, Eric, Stephanie, Kristine and Matt. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
