We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2024, at the age of 83, Phyllis McKenzie of Amanda, Ohio, born in Greenup, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Isaac Wampler and Georgia Wampler (Applegate); her husband Bill McKenzie; her grandson Joe Abram; her siblings, Doris, Naomi Wampler, Charlie and Billy Joe; and her close friend Jo Anne Ebert.

She is survived by : her children, Thomas McKenzie (Peggy) of Stoutsville, Venus Abram (Bill) of Amanda, Malinda Miller (Mike) of Lancaster and Summer McKenzie (Rudy Cox) of Amanda; her grandchildren, Bethany, Amy, Shayna (Ryan), McCabe (Jessie), Marshall (Morgan), Seth (Karianne), Dalton (Lexie) and Blaze; her sister Alma Jean Caton (Roger) of Lithopolis; and her close friend Linda Roark. She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Royalton Community Church (515 Amanda Northern Rd, Amanda, OH 43102).
