He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Sowers and Alta Sowers (Irene Riffle Sowers); and his siblings, George Sowers (Bette) of Circleville, Arnold Sowers of Amanda, Freda Campbell (Floyd) of London and Mary Lutz (Earl) of Circleville.
He is survived by: his close friend Marion Farezoco; his children, Vickie Stone (Steve) of Circleville and Kevin Sowers (Tammy) of Amanda; his grandchildren, Hillary Bradbury (Jeff) of Circleville, Travis Stone (Michelle) of Amanda, Misty Hunter of Chillicothe and Chris Sowers (Heather) of Amanda; and his great grandchildren, Claire, Jason Bradbury, Breece, Wrigley Stone, Hunter Ditmar, Mason and Liam Sowers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
