Sharon Compton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2025, at the age of 82, Sharon Compton (Amanda, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sharon may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sharon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Miller and Arleta Miller (Amspaugh); her sister Frances Imler; and her close friend Mary Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Edward Compton; her children, Cathy Holbrook (Dave), Denny Compton (Sharon) and Brian Kelly Compton (Jackie); and her close friends, Peg Hinton and Linda Wemer. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairhope Hospice 282 Sells Rd Lancaster, Ohio, whose care and compassion helped guide Sharon's final journey with grace.
