Thomas Joseph Conkey Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 29, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Thomas Joseph Conkey of Amanda, Ohio, born in Lancaster, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester T. Conkey and Sarah E. Conkey; his sister Algie E. Wilson; his son-in-law Jeff Devaney; and his father-in-law Jack Nusbaum.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Conkey; his children, Kathy Devaney, Jeanette Zibolsky (David) and Joseph Conkey (Amanda); and his grandchildren, Brandyn, Rebecca, Harley, Jefferey, Harvey and Tyler. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Continuing his commitment to service, he worked for Fairfield County Jobs and Family Services for three years and later for Amanda-Clearcreek Schools for seven months, until the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Imperial County Sheriff's Office Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization.
