He was predeceased by: his father Charles Wesley Coakley; and his sisters, Cheryl Jean Kuhn and Carol Turner. He is survived by: his mother Julia Pearl Coakley (Berry); his wife Deborah Kay Coakley (Lines); his daughter Marti Knight (Jesse) of Adelphi, Ohio; his stepson Josh Sunday of Chillicothe, Ohio; his grandchildren, Blake, Jayden Knight and Ember Cook; his siblings, George Coakley of Nelsonville, Robert Coakley (Tamii) of Logan, Charles Coakley of Delaware, Ohio, Connie McGomery (James) of Nelsonville, Norma Cameron of Columbus, Julia Tucker (Lee) of Nelsonville, Sharon Weaver (Mike) of Wabash and Cindy Denoyer (Mark) of Oregon; and his pet Macho. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
