She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleveland Mehne and Virginia Mehne (Carr); her former husband Eugene McDonald Sr.; her grandsons, Christopher Shannon and Rob Johnson; David Poole and Tammy Jo Shannon.

She is survived by: her children, Eugene McDonald (Kathy) of Kettering, Jefferson McDonald (Regina) of Williamsburg, David Wayne McDonald (Kathy) of Cincinnati, James McDonald (Toni) of Rochester, KY, Sharon Wallace (Terry) of Russellville, Elizabeth Johnson of Cincinnati and Sarah Houg of Batavia; her sisters, Mary Flowers of Ft. Myers, FL and Carol Jean Mehne of Cincinnati; and her half-brothers, Michael Mehne of Cincinnati and James Mehne of Cincinnati. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
