With sadness, we share the passing of Charles Meyer (Amelia, Ohio). Charles, born on March 21, 1940, passed away on November 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Charles for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Charles’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Meyer and Marie Meyer; his wife Janet Meyer (Hein); and his brother Richard Meyer. He is survived by: his sister Marjorie Howes; and his sons, Charles (Linda Baird) and Michael. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 19th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church (1479 Locust Lake Rd, Amelia, OH 45102). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
