It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clayton Lester Meece (Amelia, Ohio), who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Clayton may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Meece and Aldi Meece; his wife Nancy Meece; his daughter Pamela Meece; and his siblings, Wayman, Denton Meece and Delores Meece.
He is survived by: his son Daryl Meece (Tammy Cranfield); his granddaughter Amanda Sergent (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Aiden and Emma Sergent.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the E. C. Nurre Funeral Home (177 W Main St, Amelia, OH 45102). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
