She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Mckee and Dorothy Mckee; and her husband Douglas Barnes. She is survived by: her daughter Brittany Distler (Anthony); her grandchildren, Anthony, Avery and Aniston; and her siblings, Karen Hummel (Tim), Laura Flynn and David Mckee (Sally). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the E. C. Nurre Funeral Home (177 W Main St, Amelia, OH 45102). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
