He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Lay and Evelyn Hughes; his wife Joyce Lay; and his children, Ronald Ewell Lay and Sandra Richardson.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Gerald Fee, Golda Fee and Travis Fee; and his grandchildren, Catrina Hines (Brian), Jimmy Motz, Erika Elliot (Tom), Carmen Ross (Tim), Tiffany Archuleta (Chris), Noah Mooneyham, Destiny New, Megan New, Rod Puckett, Josephine Puckett, Shayla Wagner (Ben), Jeff Lay and Sam Lay. He is also survived by his living Children.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the E. C. Nurre Funeral Home (177 W Main St, Amelia, OH 45102). A burial will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery (686 Mt Moriah Dr, Cincinnati, OH 45245).
