He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bell; his daughter Robin McLelland (Rob); his grandchildren, Ryan (Rachel) and Reagan; his son Brian Hofmeier (Carla); his grandsons, Alex and Nick (Alyson); his son Chris Hofmeier (Rhonda); and his grandchildren, Ashley (Steve), Timmy, Ben and Liz.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the E. C Nurre Funeral Home (177 W Main St, Amelia, OH 45102).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a local cancer support group or to a local animal shelter/support organization in Jim's memory.
