Joseph Louis Hunt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Louis Hunt of Amelia, Ohio, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Hunt and Rita Hunt (Schultz); his brothers, John Hunt and Donald Hunt; his nephew Todd Chalfin; and his brother-in-law James Lansom.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Hunt (Eddingfield) of Matthew's Catholic Church; his children, Edward "Eddie" Hunt (Kathryn) of Pleasureville, Timothy Hunt (Nicole) of Massillon, Mikey Hunt (Michele) of Mt. Orab, Mary Jo Lucas (Justin) of Columbia, Robert "Bobby" Hunt (Catherine) of Amelia and Kimberly Hunt (James Whaley) of Portsmouth; his siblings, Lorita Lansom of Cincinnati, Paula Lindeman (Robert) of Castle Rock and Linda Chalfin (Robert) of Lynchburg; and his sister-in-law Kathy Hunt of Cincinnati. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
