She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Thompson and Sudie Thompson (White); and her brother Gary Thompson. She is survived by: her husband David Bass; her daughter Mary Sue Shinkle (Todd); her grandchildren, Brevin and Ian Shinkle; and her brother Mike Thompson (Dottie). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the E. C. Nurre Funeral Homes (177 W Main St, Amelia, OH 45102). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
