Shirley Lynn Lamping Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2025, at the age of 76, Shirley Lynn Lamping of Amelia, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Lynn Lamping to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex McFarland and Beulah Eaton McFarland; her siblings, Linda Noonan and Charles Ray McFarland; and her brothers-in-law, Mark Nickell and Kevin Honican.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Lamping; her son Michael Lamping (Debbie); her granddaughter Michaela Lamping; her daughter Michele Lamping; her sister-in-law Wanda McFarland; and her siblings, Glenn McFarland (Pat), Sara Honican, Etta Gould (Terry), Kim Byers (Kevin) and Daryl McFarland (Dawn). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the E. C. Nurre Funeral Home (177 W Main St, Amelia, OH 45102). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of too many flowers (she will be surrounded in her favorite roses), consider donating to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society whose support was a godsend during Shirley's nearly 16-month battle with leukemia.
