He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Lochary and Clara Eleanor Henry Lochary of Pomeroy; his wife Ruth McCurdy Lochary; and his children, James Lochary, Jr. and Susan Rebbeca Lochary Garguillo.
He is survived by: his daughter Patricia Polizzi (Tommy) of Scranton, PA; his grandson Shane Leep (Christina); his great grandchild Declan Leep of Circleville; his son William "Christopher" Lochary of Lancaster; his son-in-law Steven Garguillo; his brother Charles Lochary of Mathews, NC; and his sibling's children, Robert Lochary of Golden, CO and Dr. Margaret Lochary of Mathews, NC..
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Beechgrove Cemetery.
