He is survived by: his son Edward "Tad" James Swan (Martha) of Wakeman; and his grandchildren, Rochelle Hellier, Holly Swan, Daniel Swan, Matthew Swan, Nicholas Swan, Michael Swan and Kristen Abbott. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
