He was predeceased by: his son Dewey Cook Jr.; his parents, Aubrey Cook and Nina Cook; and his siblings, Eugene Cook and Pauline Tudor.
He is survived by: his wife Connie L. Cook; his sons, James Cook (Amy) of Lorain and Joe Cook (Sally) of Amherst; and his grandchildren, Joshua Cook (Caitlin), James Cook, Jesse Cook, Anthony Cook (Kimmi), Hannah Cook, Chris Cook, Jonathan Cook (Kaitlyn) and Jerrod Cook (Allie). He is also survived by his many great grandchildren.
