Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Dorothy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dorothy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her son Charles J. Barckert; her daughter-in-law Linda S. Barckert; and her parents, Carl C. Krueck and Lena M. Krueck. She is survived by: her significant other Charles H. Barckert; her children, Cheryl Wagner and Christopher Barckert of Amherst; and her daughter-in-law Ellen Barckert of Elyria. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (115 Central Dr, Amherst, OH 44001).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 115 Central Drive, Amherst, OH 44001.
