He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy; his son Rick; his parents, Ralph Bernard Clapper and Sarah Katherine (McIntyre); and his siblings, Paul, Dean, Kathleen, Leona, Virginia, Emma, Ethel, Ken, Dick, Grace and Nancy.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle; his son-in-law Steve Morrison of Lorain; his grandchildren, Brittany Kasperovich (Zack) and Stephen Morrison II; his great grandchildren, Ezra and Arlo; and his siblings, Fred Clapper, Bill Thomas and Dorothy Garabrandt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
