With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edgar Allen Pearce of Amherst, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Pearce and Mae Lucille Pearce (Howard); his former wife Hazel E. Pearce; his daughter Susan Ann Pearce; and his siblings, Janice Sommerville, Lois Zalenski, Norma Blanke and Ronald Pearce.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Barbara Pearce, Stacia Kendeigh and Matthew Kendeigh; and his grandchildren, Kaleb Cain, Lauryn Cain, Logan Cain, Brantley Kendeigh and Myles Kendeigh. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Toft Funeral Home, Wakeman Chapel (16 Cooper St, Wakeman, OH 44889). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Camden Cemetery.
