She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald C. Newman; her parents, George Cantu and Elsie Cantu (Hale); and her siblings, Ernest Lee Cantu, Bobby Gene Cantu, William Edd Cantu, Tommy Cantu, Elbert Eugene Cantu, Clarence Edward Cantu, George Jr., Sally Ann Palos (Cantu) and Joann Nagy (Cantu).
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Lea Teeters (Randy) of LaGrange, Ronnie E. Newman (Tammy) of Elyria, Nancy May (Matthew) of Sebring, FL and Kevin D. Newman of Elyria; her grandchildren, Meagan Shuttleworth (Tom), Hannah Rettger (Dan), Roslyn Nicoloff (Jeron), Caleb Teeters (Amanda), Luke Teeters (Allyson), Daniel Newman, Bradley Newman, Tiffany Searle and Tyler May Dylan May (Allison); and her sister Peggy Hunker of Oberlin. She is also survived by 19 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel (2900 N Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
