She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Vanderpool Sr.; her parents, Albert Lorence and Rhonda Lorence; and her sister Dorothy. She is survived by: her children, Ellen McGarvey of Amherst, Vernon "Butch" Jr. Vanderpool (Kim) of Brunswick and Todd Vanderpool (Shawn) of Ashland; and her siblings, Nancy Lorence of Amherst, Alan Lorence (Sharon) of Grafton and Adam Cabranes of Amherst. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists (2701 Elyria Ave, Lorain, OH 44055).
