She was predeceased by: her daughter Judy Iwanek (Carstensen); her parents, Charles Elmont and Estella Marie Brown (Huffman); and her siblings, Charles Brown, Alfred Brown, Glen Brown, Leona Partin (Brown) and Pat Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Banas (Dan) of Oberlin, Tracy Tucker (Todd) of Amherst and Dennis Carstensen (Sue) of Elyria; her grandchildren, Wendy Kring, Nick Tucker and Dakota Tucker; and her great grandchildren, Zoey Creamer, Mollie Tucker, Juliana Kring, Coen Tucker and Kylie Tucker. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Lorain Community Senior Center, 3361 Garfield Blvd, Lorain, OH 44052.
