It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Lee Poorman of Amherst, Ohio, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald C. Poorman; and her parents, Francis Schellhammer and Anna Mae Schellhammer. She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Daugherty (Jim) of Amherst and Rick Poorman (Judy) of Huron; her grandchildren, Joe Milks, Shay Volkens (Bee), Ryan Poorman (Jessica Henry) and Brandon Poorman (Chelsea Rogers); and her siblings, Shirley Waite, Evelyn Croftcheck, Sandy Bush and Judy Stoltz. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to New Life Hospice; 3500 Kolbe Road, Lorain, OH 44052.
